^ fans are blocking the roads near SM building
The three members os DBSK and the lawyer have been in contact discussing this issue for over 2 months now.
They tried to negotiate a deal with SM Entertainment to resolve this issue in the best way possible but they could not reach an agreement. SM admited that there has been some disagreement between them and DBSK recently but they are shocked that DBSK took the issue to court. Now fans are scared because DBSK could disband.
After DBSK’s Chinese fans joined the fan panic, korean Cassiopeians are really showing they’re potest against SM ent. .

We all know that DBSK makes the most money in SM. I’m sure there will be a happy ending.
But somehow this all makes my wonder if DBSK is getting greedy?

i dont think DBSK is being greedy, working their asses off and only getting 10% of their earnings, and not to mention they are shipped off to japan when they are being famous in Korea and not to mention they have to start from scratch again and the language barrier, its just so unfair. JYPE has 50-50 split earnings and YG prob has around the same as 50-50 or perhaps 60-40 but its not as ridiculous as 90-10 in the case of DBSK
they worked hard and they deserve to earn that amount of money.
and its known that SM ill treat their artistes (shinhwa, ftts, H.O.T) if SM is as good as they claimed to be, why didnt the ex-artistes remain in contact with SM like how rain is still in contact with JYP even after he left? and there have been reports about SM hitting/ whipping their artistes and thats one of the reasons why artistes left.
DBSK are humans, not robots. their working schedules are crazy, they are sleep deprived and they are way underpaid. and the contract is akin to a slave contract. 13 years? 10% of what they have done? they have every reason to be angry. DBSK is not just a milking cow, SM should just reflect.
No, DBSK is not greedy. LSM always tries to use all the ways to get money from SM artists and it’s not fair. I mean SM got more than the artists did. H.O.T, Shinhwa, Fly to the sky … all of them also left SM because they were treated unfairly and SM was too greedy.

i don’t think they’re greedy at all. we all know DBSK are work horses. after all their hard work, they only get 2% of the profit back (for each member). i’d feel used too.
OK! Firstly, I want to clarify that DBSK is NOT at all greedy.
They are NOT GETTING GREEDYY at all.
Our Dong Bang boys work day and night and work their butts off without even getting proper meals and sleeps. They look so pale and exhausted from all the activities they participated in and never even complained a single thing about it. What they deserve IS DEFINIETLY MUCH MUCH more than what they are getting from SM now! It is only right that they get back what they rightfully deserve from all the efforts, hardworks, sweats and tears that they put into creating this TOP GROUP we have today. ALSO, they are not even asking for totally unfair terms they just wanted to be treated fairly and have a more reasonable contract. You CANNOT say that they are ungrateful for it is their own hardwork and passion for music that brought them this far.It is true to an extent that SM groom them but without the members own determination and in-born talents they will not be the DONG BANG SHIN KI we know today.
What we believe is that our boys are people whom we respect and look up to, ones that put forth their very best into every performance and ensure that the best is presented to their fans! Therefore DBSK is the best eveer group that one can have

plus they are not asking for more money but for preservation of evidence and The Exclusive Contract Validity Suspension and Provisional Disposition so dont think about the boys that way

they are in a “slave contract”. any normal person would want to change that if they could.
DBSK only get about 10-30% (split that between 5 members is like 2-6% per person) of what they make for SM.

i kinda agree on dbsk being a little greedy. its sad to hear that the boys is taking their own company to court. its like taking their own parents to court. its sick and patheic. i cant believe its happening. the company was the one who made them rich and famous. and now that they think their rich enough to be on their own then they go and step all over the company. its really sad.

It’s purely business … I am sad for DBSK but still hopeful that this case will be resolved amicably – though unlikely.
I don’t think that’s greedy. Anyway, No Band Stays In SM For More Than 6 Albums. It’s about how SM treats them and their tiring work schedule too not just money issues.
I thought of it before but, after read all the comments some of it are true and very logically can be accepted. DBSK worked so hard, they even gaining their popularity around asia right now. Even in Malaysia, they famous around teenagers and their albums & singles are sold in the market. When I think about it, it must be a tough work when (almost) around the world know about them. I mean, its not easy to gaining your own popularity around you if you’re an artist. Various activities are needed like tv shows, commercials, so people can know about yourself.
SME was the one that want that happen but they didn’t respect DBSK at all. No wonder lots of artists from this company was certainly out from the company. Fair is the main point here. Was it hard for SM to divide the profit around 50-50? I know its a part of buisness but fair is still needed! Even one member of the SNSD (Girls’ Generation) also want left the company. (I think) Hopefully, they think about this.

It’s really heartbreaking to see DBSK suffering like this when they’re real good friends . We as Cassiopeian should always keep the faith but i don’t think to the extend of this . We should not use violence against Sm cos’ we’re like telling them they’re right but we’re threatening them . We should always keep the faith , hope till the end & support them no matter what . Let them settle their lawsuit themselves , i am sure they both got their reasons . I believe when DBSK see this they would be very sad cos’ we’re their biggest family , they don’t like to see us hurting & being like this . We should just prepare our red light sticks cos’ soon , we’ll be able to light up the red ocean with our 5 perfectionist , believe they can do it , they have the will in the positive way , they will do it .
